Camping around Eagle Lake
Eagle Lake has a number of good campgrounds from which to choose in the Eagle Lake Recreation Area at the southern end of the lake and a pair of Bureau of Land Management campgrounds on the north side.
Eagle Lake Recreation Area is managed by the Eagle Lake Campgrounds and Marina. Both the campgrounds and the marina are included in the recreation area. Profits from their operation help to fund scholarships and other assistance for Lassen Community College students.
Two Eagle Lake Resorts offer RV Camping, Tent Camping and Cabins for rent. For more lodging choices, visitors should look to Susanville, only a few miles to the southeast.
