Santa Margarita Lake Camping
Santa Margarita Lake's campgrounds are operated by San Luis Obispo County Parks.
There are 60 primitive campsites on the south shore of the lake, distributed among four campgrounds:
- Coyote Campground
- Roadrunner Campground
- Grey Pine Campground
- Osprey Campgrounds
Piped water is available in the campgrounds and pay showers are nearby. Facilities at the lake include restrooms, a playground, a seasonal swimming pool, and an
equestrian staging area. Hiking trails lead along the south shore of the lake.
Camping Fees:
Primitive sites per night - $33 weekdays, $36 weekends, $41 holidays
(October - March: $30, $33, $41
+ $10 reservation fee.
