Directions to Bass Lake, California
From most places north of Merced it is fastest to go east on Highway 140 to Mariposa and then follow Highway 49 to Oakhurst and Highway 41. A short drive north on Highway 41, watching for the signs to turn off to Bass Lake, will take you to the lake.
Los Banos and Madera area travelers obviously would use Highway 145 to Highway 41 and then follow it north to Bass Lake.
Travelers from Fresno and points south would take Highway 41 right out of Fresno.
