Mammoth Lakes Boating in a Nutshell
Boating at the Mammoth Lakes is limited pretty much to fishing boats of various kinds, canoes and kayaks, and float tubes. The speed limit on the lakes is 10 MPH. No motorized boats are permitted on Horseshoe Lake. Roads connect to all seven of the main lakes, making launching a small craft is easy.
