Camping at New Bullards Bar Reservoir

Emerald Cove Marina serves as the reservation and permitting agent for the Forest Service for camping in the Bullards Bar Recreation Area. Camping is allowed at several drive-to campgrounds around the reservoir and at a number of boat-in campsites.

Reservations are recommended and can be made in person at the marina or by phone:
(530) 692-3200 or (877) 692-3201.
Emerald Cove's on-line Campsite Navigator can assist you in choosing the sites you may want before calling for reservations.

Campsites have a 2 night minimum on weekends and a 3 night minimum over major summer holiday weekends. There is a $7.50 phone reservation fee per site. Single sites allow a maximum of 6 people and 2 vehicles for $22 per night. Permits from the marina are required for overnight camping on boats which are not tenants of the marina.
